'Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever.'
As a foster-based rescue, we can only help as many animals as we have foster homes. Fosters are needed through adoption and are primarily responsible for providing the animal with basic care and attention. Fosters can work outside of the home, have families, etc. we will make sure your foster is the best fit for your lifestyle! We never quite know how long an animal will take to be adopted but average is 4-6 weeks (puppy commitment is often shorter). Please also apply if you can only temp foster (weekend - 10 days) as inevitably there will be vacations or business travel that arises.
All supplies such as food, crate, etc. will be provided. Medical expenses and fees associated with the animal will be covered by the rescue as well.
To be considered as a foster you must:
Be at least 21 years or older and have permission from homeowner (if applicable)
Have all animals in your home spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly preventatives.
Be willing to provide photos and detailed information regarding the foster animal's personality/needs.
Be willing to provide decompression time, basic/potty training, and socialization to the foster animal.
Be willing to attend events, assist with vet transport, and engage in meet & greets with potential adopters
